The decade that climate cooperation grew stronger. From the birth of the UNFCCC at the Rio Earth Summit in 1992, to the first-ever climate COP in Berlin in 1995 and the adoption of the Kyoto Protocol at the end of 1997, in the 90s we understood that we can only protect our planet if we do it together. We have come a long way. Today we have the Paris Agreement. And we know it is working to fight the climate crisis. We just need to go further and farther. #90s
