The climate crisis 🌎🔥 is leaving its mark on Latin America and the Caribbean.

From Chile to Mexico and the Caribbean... the region is witnessing devastating climate impacts like floods, intense droughts, and other extreme weather events.

More reason to double-down on climate action and transition away from fossil fuels now.

But mitigation is just one side of the coin. The new @wmo_omm report "The State of the Climate in Latin America and the Caribbean" highlights the importance of investing in adaptation and more effective early warning systems.

It also calls for action from everyone, from citizens to governments, to combat climate misinformation and promote climate-smart decision-making at all levels.
